Bison Tea Towel
“Oh, give me a home, where the buffalo roam …” At one time, roughly 30 million bison inhabited North America. Today, only about 350,000 roam the prairies and conservation sites, a product of overhunting in the 1800s. But they are no longer endangered and, instead, are now revered for their endurance, strength and size (males weigh upwards of 2,000 pounds and are 6.5 feet tall at the shoulder!). This rustic tea towel is reminiscent of the beautiful rolling hills of the Midwest and the bison that still run free.
